Stolen Edward III (1361AD) Gold Half Noble

An Edward III (1361AD) Transitional Period Gold Half Noble (Spink 1500, North 1223) was stolen from the London Coin Fair on Saturday 7 September 2013. The coin was snatched from the tray while a client was looking at them. It has since come to light that two other dealers spotted the thief in question and went to apprehend them however they disappeared into the crowd before they could be stopped and questioned. The suspect is known to one of the dealers as a know thief and details have been forwarded to the police.
